The Mid-Carolina AHEC, Inc. offers the Health Careers Academy (HCA) for high school students. The HCA activities promote academic success, career development and personal growth for students.

Academy Enrollment Details
Academy Dates
The Health Careers Academy conducts its sessions annually from September-April.
Each new academic year begins with an orientation held in August.
Academy Expectations
Participants in the program are required to attend all meetings, with no more than 3 absences permitted. Students should consistently maintain high academic standards and engagement during their time in the program.

Partnership with Princeton Review
The Health Careers Academy provides complimentary ACT/SAT Test Preparation September-April, equipping students with the tools and confidence needed to excel in their future academic endeavors.
